Shakira Confirms Her Concerts In Mexico With Her Tour ‘women No Longer Cry’

Shakira continues to achieve success in music. A few months after the release of her album with feminist themes and an empowering speech, the singer has confirmed the dates of her musical tour through Latin America , and Mexico will be one of its main stops, in addition to Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Colombia. The singer will arrive in the country with her tour called Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran , which also gives its name to her recent production , which premiered last March amid a celebration that included a presentation in Times Square, New York, and several revealing interviews.

When is Shakira performing in Mexico?

After several years, Shakira will land in Mexico with her new tour. The news was confirmed on the morning of October 2, after a few hours of uncertainty after the pop music star announced her performances in Latin America. The news was released by the company that organizes concerts in Mexico. Likewise, Shakira made the announcement official on her social networks, a space in which she has been able to consolidate a community of fans always attentive to her projects and presentations.

According to the calendar of shows scheduled in Mexico, these are the dates that the singer will offer in the country:

March 12, Monterrey, at the BBVA stadium

March 16, Guadalajara, AKRON stadium

March 19, Mexico City, GNP Seguros stadium

After several years, Shakira will sing in Colombia

The Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran concert tour is one of the most significant for Shakira. After 19 years, the singer will once again perform her musical hits in her native country, Colombia, where she travels constantly for her projects. This is undoubtedly one of the most eagerly awaited encounters for her fans, always keeping an eye on the steps of the Barranquilla native, one of the most acclaimed performers on the world pop scene. Songs such as Soltera, her recent song, Puntería, Te Felicito or her musical success in collaboration with Bizarrap, will be just some of the songs that will be played in each of the stadiums where Shakira performs.

To make the announcement even more emotional, the singer shared a video on October 1 with her music producer and friend Luis Fernando Ochoa, with whom she composed the songs for her classic album Pies Descalzos, from the 90s. Both appear in a music studio announcing the singer’s upcoming arrival in Latin America. In the recording, Shakira can be seen performing a pop version of the classic Antología, one of her most beloved songs among her fans. “Latin America, I miss you, will you join me again?” she wrote at the bottom of the post, which raised spirits among her millions of followers on social media.

Shakira’s big moment

This is undoubtedly one of the strongest moments in Shakira’s musical career, who with her new album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran , has been able to express her femininity in a different way, as she has said before. Personal experiences and love affairs have been, in part, the source of inspiration for this work. “I was raw, I was dealing with a lot of things, I was writing, I felt like I had a knife between my teeth. You know, I was picking up the pieces of myself from the ground, I was trying to rebuild myself and music was the glue…” she said last March on Jimmy Fallon’s show.
