The actor has said he has a “bittersweet” feeling, commenting that “it’s 11 years of our lives, 8 seasons, 101 episodes .” Although, as he explained, we still have many episodes left to enjoy the period drama, “obviously, we’re promoting part 2 of season 7, but we finished filming last week . I have to go back next week to film some things, but, yeah, it’s been a huge part of my life ,” he said, overcome with a certain nostalgia.
The star of Men in Kilts: A Road Trip with Sam and Graham then made a moving confession about his life after playing Jamie Fraser: “I don’t know where to go now,” he said. To try to lighten the emotional load of the moment, Heughan joked with Al Roker, Craig Melvin and Dylan Reye, presenters of the aforementioned program, saying: “I mean, if you guys have a place around here…”.
